This behavior was identical on both of our devices.Īs an additional measure, I uninstalled his Chrome and installed it back. At that point it went straight to Sharepoint just like IE and Edge. Firefox on the other hand had me log in and then prompted for "keep me signed in". Closed and opened browser and still goes straight to Sharepoint. From there it went straight to Sharepoint. IE and Edge prompted for the "keep me signed in" without having me enter credentials on the first visit. I tried IE, Edge, and Firefox on both of our devices. Update: While trying/checking the provided suggestions I played around with some other browsers just for data collection. While none of my team are seeing exactly what the user in question is we have 2 who never see the log in prompt and we have 2 who see it periodically but admittedly with a reasonable timeout window (hours for sure but maybe a day or so) as opposed the the user. I have surveyed a few folks in my department and of the responses I get back we are sort of 50/50 on the behavior. On his device it went straight to keep me signed in. When I went to the Sharepoint it prompted for credentials, I entered them, it prompted to keep me signed in, and then it opened the Sharepoint. I did all of the same things to my device while doing it to his device. I went into settings and wiped out all of the instances of the associated Microsoft account stored there. I have cleared all of his cached data and all of the passwords that appear to be associated in Credential Manager. If he hits the Home button again or opens a new tab (without closing the logged in session) and hits Home it prompts for the "keep me signed in" option again. If he selects and option and checks the "never show this again option" it logs him into Sharepoint.

Typically, this page follows the credential page, he never sees the credential page. I feel like this is a big part of the puzzle but my engineers disagree and I am not at a level to adjust this.Īdditionally, he only gets the "keep me signed in" page.

That being said if I copy my URL into his address bar it goes straight to the right page. There are a few levels to this so hang with me.įirst thing I notice is that his homepage (managed by the org) has a different URL than my homepage (managed by the same org). The user in question is using Google Chrome to access the company Sharepoint which is set as the homepage. I have found many topics similar to this and have tried quite a few of the solutions with no luck.
